Hi ya!

Hi, I’m Stephanie, a queer film photographer based in northern Colorado.

I bought my first 35mm film camera in 2018, but I was so intimidated by it that it became little more than shelf decor. It wasn’t until 2021 when my wife gifted me my first digital camera that I really fell in love with photography. Feeling more comfortable behind a camera, I decided to give my film camera another try—and that’s when everything clicked. From that moment on, I was hooked and haven't looked back since. Film photography became my whole personality, so much so that I've built an ever-growing collection of film cameras. It’s been an incredibly fulfilling journey, and I’m excited to continue capturing the world one frame at a time.

There’s something truly magical about shooting on film—it allows me to capture the world in its most romanticized form, something that digital just can’t replicate. I love the process of slowing down, embracing the imperfections, and creating timeless images that feel full of life and emotion. Whether I’m exploring the great outdoors or capturing the intimate details of a space, I find beauty in every moment.

My work spans brand, portrait, travel, and lifestyle photography. I primarily shoot on 35mm and medium format film, which offers a richness and texture that digital simply can’t match. However, if you’re looking for a digital option, I’m happy to offer that too. Each frame I shoot tells a unique story, and I’d love to capture yours.
